My Approach

The work I do with you is integrative and collaborative. Rather than offering one modality, I weave multiple traditions and perspectives so you can lead and live more fully. This page explains how these components come together, what my coaching is and isn’t, and how I ensure consent and safety.

Integral Theory

Integral theory invites us to see from many lenses at once—inner and outer, individual and collective. In coaching, this means paying attention not only to your thoughts and emotions but also to your body, relationships, culture and systems. I'll help you notice how these layers interact and identify leverage points for change.

IFS‑Informed Parts Work

Internal Family Systems (IFS) recognizes that we are made up of many “parts”—inner protectors, critics, caretakers, visionaries and more. Coaching helps you listen to and befriend these parts so they can work together. I respect boundaries around deeper therapeutic work and will refer you to a licensed therapist when appropriate.

Somatics & Yoga

Because leadership happens through bodies, not just words, I engage somatic practices with you to build your awareness and capacity. You’ll learn to sense physical sensations (interoception), find your voice, explore boundaries and ground under stress. Yoga postures, breathwork and movement are offered within your range of consent and ability.

Equity & Systems Thinking

I attend to power, privilege and systems of oppression because they shape our lives and leadership. Equity isn’t just a value—it’s a practice of precision about what people need to thrive. My coaching incorporates anti‑oppressive frameworks and invites you to design cultures of belonging and care.

Herbalism & Nature‑Based Care

Plants are gentle teachers. As a community herbalist, I offer education about herbs that support stress, digestion, sleep and seasonal rhythms. I may also include habits inspired by the natural world—like grounding with trees or aligning actions to supportive holidays in your tradition. Herbal guidance is always educational and not medical advice. If you’re curious about specific herbs, you can explore a few gentle nervous‑system allies in this article.

What This Is and Isn’t

This is... This isn’t...
A collaborative partnership that honors your expertise on your life Therapy or a substitute for mental health care
An integration of coaching, education and somatic practice Medical advice or diagnosis
A space to explore leadership, identity and purpose across life domains A quick fix or linear “formula” for success
Trauma‑aware and consent‑driven work that moves at your nervous system’s pace A guarantee that uncomfortable feelings won’t arise—growth includes discomfort

Safety & Consent Practices

Your autonomy and wellbeing are paramount. I will always check for consent before introducing a new practice or topic, and you can pause or stop any activity. If you need additional support beyond my scope, I will help you find appropriate resources and referrals. Emergencies or crises should be directed to medical professionals or hotlines.
